Dear Parents/Guardians of Westmount HS music students,

We are excited to announce our final concert of the 2022/2023 school year. This concert will take place on May 16^th in the WHS auditorium. The concert will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and will feature all the grade level music classes. The concert will finish at 9 p.m.

Please note that all students in the Music program are required to participate in this concert. Students will have a listening activity to complete that evening and therefore must remain in the audience when not performing. Students are not to have their cellphones on or visible.

Tickets for the concert will be $10/adult and $5 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the door the evening of the concert.

Please note the following important details for music students:

• All students are expected to be present for the entirety of the concert, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Full concert dress: Black school pants, skirts, skorts, or kilts and a white shirt with school crest.
• Secondary 1 and 2 students must arrive by 6:15 p.m. the evening of the concert, be in full concert dress with necessary instruments and music. After performing, all students will join the audience and watch the Secondary 5 students perform. A written reflection for their Appreciates Music Competency will be assigned.
• Secondary 3, 4, 5 students must arrive by 6:30 p.m. the evening of the concert, be in full concert dress with necessary instruments and music.

The students have been working very hard in class in preparation for this concert and we cannot wait to perform for you!
