Resource

Westmount High School has a team of resource teachers and child care workers who work together to provide our students with the support they need. The program is designed to help students within the classroom and ensure students the services they are entitled to.

Each year, in conjunction with teachers, individualized education plans (IEP’s) are created and updated for students.

Our resource centre (STEP 122) is a space designed for students who are in need of extra help, whether they are falling behind, having trouble studying or have homework questions. Our team organizes small group sessions, helps with social and emotional learning and helps students track their homework through the use of their agenda. These are just a few of the services offered through our resource department at Westmount High School.
